Annamarie Carcione

Annamarie is a fine artist and scenic artist born, raised, and currently residing in Queens New York. She has an Associates of Science (AS) in Fine and Performing Arts from Queensborough Community College and a Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) in Scenic Design from SUNY Purchase. She has been working as a Scenic Artist; painting sets for theater, events, fashion shows, television and movies since 2013; and is a member of IATSE Local 829.

As a socially anxious person in a big city, Annamarie found comfort in art. She creates whimsical realities to escape to. She loves animals and plants and replicates the beauty that she sees in these subjects and everyday life, with a twist. She would like to welcome everyone to her reality. Annamarie makes art to show the beauty in the mundane reality. A place you can go to when you take the time to admire the everyday beauty of nature and the world.
